We have designed an entire new identity for Abilene Outdoor Adventures to include a custom logo and website! Their exciting new endeavor of being Abilene's only outfitter gave us an opportunity to learn about the deer and turkey hunting opportunities available such a short distance from our local military post.They offer full-service hunting lodging that includes home-cooked meals, a game room, internet connection, and a cleaning shed - all available in the beautiful 3-bedroom ranch style home located in Abilene, Kansas.We installed a photo gallery and customized blog so they can keep everyone informed about the hunting excursions they will provide for the spring hunting season. Wind River Group, LLC - www.windrivergroupllc.com
We've recently completed a new website for the Wind River Group which is a privately-held commercial real estate company based in Southern California that specializes in the acquisition, development and management of distressed assets. The original logo/branding concept was created by Jonathan Brown of Anton Communications and the flash design was created by Charles Harmon of Harmon Media Group. We had an awesome collaborative effort and experience in designing their site to their specifications. One of my favorite pages is www.windrivergroupllc.com/lincoln - because of the circa 1900 photo of the original structure I was privy to see that was renovated by Wind River Group.

e-Newsletters and Website Design: Our client, Anton Communications - a media and public relations firm in Orange County, California, has created a very dynamic relationship with RL Hanson-Online! Our most recent website we've completed for Anton Communications is Wind River Group, LLC and we are in the process of completing one now - which we will reveal when we "Go Live!".

Custom Menu Script: We've had the pleasure of working with Twin Helix Designs on the last couple of websites which required a customized menu application. Angus from Twin Helix has been very efficient and patient in helping us get the new scripting working as it is intended!

Business Card Printing: We continue to be a great resource for graphic designers to provide both raised ink and full-color business cards to their clients! RL Hanson-Online offers wholesale discounts to design firms and provides quality printing and solid advice based on the design concept which fits both their clients' style and budget.

The new feature we added to our website is a streamlined process for designers to submit their art files during the checkout process on our website seems to really be working well. Very exciting for us and our wholesaler designers!

Wow! What an endeavor!

Latest Projects: We obtained a website in the process of being developed by another company which was not up to standard and was not going to meet the required deadline of one of our clients. RL Hanson-Online re-created the template based on the approved design and managed to get the 16-page website proof completed in less than 24 hours! We are very proud that we were able to complete this project for our client - but hope to not have to do that again any time soon! We are so appreciative of our clients that were willing to delay their web updates for a couple of days as we addressed this issue!

New Branding Concept: We've just completed some web updates for our client, Podee International. We've been fortunate to work with their new marketing and PR person and have created the website to match their product packaging and new branding! This was a fun website to create designs for - we need to get back to our inner child once in awhile!

Latest Business-to-Business: e-Newsletters and Website Design
Our client, Anton Communications - a media and public relations firm in Orange County, California, has created a very dynamic relationship with RL Hanson-Online!
Our projects include e-newsletters to match existing websites, web maintenance and updates to current websites, and creating new websites. Some of the new website concepts have been created by her art design team and all are managed by her project managers.
The website templates, coding, and content is placed by RL Hanson-Online after final approval from her clients. Official unveiling! Welcome to our new client, Secured Payroll Partners, located in Manhattan, Kansas! We've just completed their new logo design and website concept.
They provide payroll processing services as well as HR support and offer web-based time-keeping for their clients. We have streamlined some of the processes for them and cretaed an easy to navigate, user-friendly site.

New Scripts

Unique Visitors
The unique visitors section of the summary page will show the amount of “Unique” or different visitors to a page. This is normally the amount asked for by other webmasters. This is a true number of visitors to a site for the current month.

Number of Visits
The number of visits is the amount of users that come to the site including return visitors. This is the amount of unique visitors combined with return visits. So if a user visits a page more then once in a 12 hour period, each of those visits will be counted and displayed here.

Pages
The pages section displays the amount of pages that have been viewed for the month. This basically shows the amount of pages within a site that have been viewed by users throughout the month.

Hits
Hits are the amount of visits a site receives plus the amount of connections per user. Each user that displays a web page may make multiple connections to the server to download images, text and any other information that may be needed for the page to display. This is all logged and is displayed as the amount of total hits a site receives.

Bandwidth
The bandwidth displays the current bandwidth usage for the month. It also displays the average usage per user. This is the average amount of bandwidth a user may use each visit. This will give a good idea of what the bandwidth usage is like for the month and give a basis for calculating the monthly bandwidth usage.

e-Mail Phishing:

What is it?
A phishing e-mail is one that appears to be from someone you hold an account with, whether it's a bank, credit card, or even a hosting account. The e-mail appears to be from a valid source and usually describes a situation which requires your immediate attention. The sender usually asks for you to verify your personal information and sometimes even asks for your password.

What should I do if I receive a phishing e-mail?
NEVER give out your personal information in an e-mail unless you have verified via telephone with the person requesting the information (and still do not give information that could be used for identity theft). Do not click on the links to fill-out the information on the web. These can be sites set-up to mimic a bonafide site.If you are a RL Hanson-Online hosting client, please forward the e-mail to us and if you can, send the header information contained in the e-mail.
DO contact your bank or credit card company and report the e-mail scam so they can warn other clients.

Should I be concerned if I receive an e-mail like this?
There really isn't reason to be overly concerned. e-Mail phishing occurs quite frequently and usually does not mean that any of your information has been compromised.
You should make a habit of reviewing your account activity of bank and credit card statements for any suspicious transactions on a regular basis anyway.

RKS Management Group, LLC Website
We are so excited about the re-vamped website for RKS Management Group! Simplified and easy to navigate, we added some functionality for their clients and potential clients including a rental application form which can be received via e-mail, a military allotment form, and a move-in checklist. We helped them streamline processes by creating a virtual office where they can share documents and access commonly used forms.These features were added on to their existing ability to process work-orders online for both their residents and the Home Owner Associations for each community.Check out the site and let us know what you think about the new design!

Desert-Craft, Inc. Website
We just completed an add-on design for the Desert-Craft, Inc. website. We changed the header image a little but most importantly, we added a new shopping cart and have been inputing the custom off-road parts and custom fab services performed by Desert-Craft, Inc. A new product line they are now offering is catered to the custom fab community - Pipe and Tube Benders, Notchers, and Bead Rollers as well as the Bend-Tech software that is a must-have for these products.
They are extremely excited about the new features and ability to offer their services online!

New Client
Welcome to our new client, located in Manhattan, Kansas! We've just completed their new logo design and are in the process of designing a whole new website concept.

When you access a web site, you are downloading a file. This file can be an HTML web page, a GIF image, a MIDI sound file, or a combination of these. These files are downloaded to your computer and displayed in your web browser.
Each time you download a file, data is being transferred. The amount of data depends on the size of the file. If you download a web page that is 1 kilobyte (1,024 bytes), or 1 KB, in size, then 1 KB of data has been transferred. If 100 people access that same web page, then 100 KB of data has been transferred.
Term Meaning Number of Bytes KB kilobyte 1,024 mb Megabyte 1,048,576 GB Gigabyte 1,073,741,824
Bandwidth is the term used to measure the amount of data being transferred from your web space. This does not directly relate to the number of 'Hits' a web site receives. One single hit to a web page that is 100 KB in size uses the same amount of bandwidth as 100 hits to a 1 KB page.

Podee Baby Products Website
We are so excited about the new look for Podee® International! Simplified and easy to navigate, we added some pretty nice image effects and implemented some mini-forms for clients needing to ask simple questions. Also enabled a photo upload feature for the testimonial section. We've automated the referral process for wholesalers interested in selling the Podee® Baby Bottle and created images and descriptions for wholesalers to use which maintains the Podee® standard.

Dry Creek Equestrian Center Website
We just completed a small re-design of the Dry Creek Equestrian Center website. We changed the background and header image a little. Most importantly, we performed some minor SEO for the site, and added the horse and rider lessons to their shopping cart. Now, you can pay for your lessons online and view their new arena pictures.

Gallery Real Estate
We've added information on the 2009 First-Time Home Buyer program that is in effect for a short time this year. We think you'll find this information very useful if you are considering purchasing your first home in 2009. Podee® International
We are currently re-designing the Podee® website! We are so excited about this project and love that Prudente Cueto had the initiative to hire us to create an entire new concept for the New Year! We are developing a site which has a much cleaner appearance and incorporates some scripts that will enhance the end user experience. We will share the link when we go LIVE with the new site!
