e-Mail Phishing:

What is it?
A phishing e-mail is one that appears to be from someone you hold an account with, whether it's a bank, credit card, or even a hosting account. The e-mail appears to be from a valid source and usually describes a situation which requires your immediate attention. The sender usually asks for you to verify your personal information and sometimes even asks for your password.

What should I do if I receive a phishing e-mail?
NEVER give out your personal information in an e-mail unless you have verified via telephone with the person requesting the information (and still do not give information that could be used for identity theft). Do not click on the links to fill-out the information on the web. These can be sites set-up to mimic a bonafide site.If you are a RL Hanson-Online hosting client, please forward the e-mail to us and if you can, send the header information contained in the e-mail.
DO contact your bank or credit card company and report the e-mail scam so they can warn other clients.

Should I be concerned if I receive an e-mail like this?
There really isn't reason to be overly concerned. e-Mail phishing occurs quite frequently and usually does not mean that any of your information has been compromised.
You should make a habit of reviewing your account activity of bank and credit card statements for any suspicious transactions on a regular basis anyway.

If you are still interested please confirm your account by filling the space below.Your User name,password, date of birth andyour country information would be needed to verify your account.
Due to the congestion in all webmail users and removal of all unused Accounts, Webmail would be shutting down all unused Accounts, You will have to confirm your E-mail by filling out your by filling the space below.Your Staff ID, password, date of birth and your country information would be needed to verify your account. Any customer mail not verified will be suspended within 24 hours for security reasons.

We are so excited about the re-vamped website for RKS Management Group! Simplified and easy to navigate, we added some functionality for their clients and potential clients including a rental application form which can be received via e-mail, a military allotment form, and a move-in checklist. We helped them streamline processes by creating a virtual office where they can share documents and access commonly used forms.These features were added on to their existing ability to process work-orders online for both their residents and the Home Owner Associations for each community.Check out the site and let us know what you think about the new design!

Desert-Craft, Inc. Website
We just completed an add-on design for the Desert-Craft, Inc. website. We changed the header image a little but most importantly, we added a new shopping cart and have been inputing the custom off-road parts and custom fab services performed by Desert-Craft, Inc. A new product line they are now offering is catered to the custom fab community - Pipe and Tube Benders, Notchers, and Bead Rollers as well as the Bend-Tech software that is a must-have for these products.
They are extremely excited about the new features and ability to offer their services online!

New Client
Welcome to our new client, located in Manhattan, Kansas! We've just completed their new logo design and are in the process of designing a whole new website concept.
They provide payroll processing services as well as HR support and offer web-based time-keeping for their clients. We hope to streamline some of the processes for them and make for an easy to navigate, user-friendly site.
We'll let you know when we get this completed and do an official unveiling next month!

When you access a web site, you are downloading a file. This file can be an HTML web page, a GIF image, a MIDI sound file, or a combination of these. These files are downloaded to your computer and displayed in your web browser.
Each time you download a file, data is being transferred. The amount of data depends on the size of the file. If you download a web page that is 1 kilobyte (1,024 bytes), or 1 KB, in size, then 1 KB of data has been transferred. If 100 people access that same web page, then 100 KB of data has been transferred.

Bandwidth is the term used to measure the amount of data being transferred from your web space. This does not directly relate to the number of 'Hits' a web site receives. One single hit to a web page that is 100 KB in size uses the same amount of bandwidth as 100 hits to a 1 KB page.

We are so excited about the new look for Podee® International! Simplified and easy to navigate, we added some pretty nice image effects and implemented some mini-forms for clients needing to ask simple questions. Also enabled a photo upload feature for the testimonial section. We've automated the referral process for wholesalers interested in selling the Podee® Baby Bottle and created images and descriptions for wholesalers to use which maintains the Podee® standard.

Dry Creek Equestrian Center Website
We just completed a small re-design of the Dry Creek Equestrian Center website. We changed the background and header image a little. Most importantly, we performed some minor SEO for the site, and added the horse and rider lessons to their shopping cart. Now, you can pay for your lessons online and view their new arena pictures.

Gallery Real Estate
We've added information on the 2009 First-Time Home Buyer program that is in effect for a short time this year. Did you know? You can add, delete or create e-mail forwarders in your cPanel for your website. Just login to your cPanel interface by visiting: www.rlhanson-online.com/client_cpanel.html. Then click on "e-mail accounts" or "forwarders". You don't have to actually create an e-mail account if you plan to forward the mail to another e-mail address.
Your cPanel interface also offers video tutorials - learn to access many of the features available in your hosting account control panel!

R.E. Peters Company Website

Rick Peters of R.E. Peters company posed a challenge to me for an element on his new website we were designing. He wanted a drop-down menu that changed background colors for each menu item to correspond with the background color of each page it linked to.

I have used the script written by Angus at Twin Helix for the drop-down menus in the past and knew this was probably my best option for customization. However, with little experience in actually fully customizing this script - I was a little apprehensive. But, I love a challenge!

Basically, I removed all the style effects for the background colors in Angus' code, and applied a class to each

to achieve the effect.

I'm attaching the style.css and listmenu_h.css for your review - this isn't the complete code you need in order to use the twinhelix menu - make sure you download it from www.twinhelix.com.

We have been so fortunate to have been selected by American Dream Development and The Builder Coalition to have created the website for this wonderful opportunity for a local family!The www.extremebuildflinthills.com website went live on Thursday, Nov. 5th, 2008 and by Sunday, Nov. 9th - we had 1279 uniquie visitors and over 600 volunteer sign-up emails! We have just finished the development of the www.repeterscompany.com website which is a referral from Anton Communications in California and a collaborative effort from R.E. Peters Company, Anton Communications, RL Hanson-Online and KC Design Studios.
It was an exciting endeavor to work with so many qualified personnel to have a design concept and content-rich site developed! We are in the process of designing a full-color handout as well as Business Cards, Letterheads and Envelopes which are already in print production. We wish Rick the best of luck in his new endeavor!
