Why the dragonfly? Our principal, Lynne Hanson, has experienced an epiphany when it came to our logo. Whether it be lounging at the lake in Kansas, walking trails in Germany, or hanging out on La Jolla Coves' cliffs in San Diego - dragonflies seemed to just follow her everywhere. There was often times when their presence even inspired questions from companions, "what is with you and the dragonflies?"


Shortly after the inception of RL Hanson-Online, Lynne was contemplating changing the logo to something more "appropriate" for a web design company. At the very moment she considered her options, a dragonfly landed within a couple of feet from where she was sitting. It even stayed there long enough for her to retrieve her camera and take some pictures!

The dragonfly logo was created from the picture of the actual dragonfly that so appropriately made an appearance.

The meaning of the Native American Dragonfly really impacts Lynne and the way she views life and her business:
