Shortly after the inception of RL Hanson-Online, Lynne contemplatedchanging the dragonfly logo to something more "appropriate" for a web design company. At the very moment she considered her options, a dragonfly landed a few feet away from where she was sitting! It even stayed there long enough for her to retrieve her camera and take some pictures! The dragonfly logo was created from those shots of the actual dragonfly that so appropriately made an appearance. The meaning of the Native American Dragonfly also impacts Lynne and the way she views life and her business: The essence of dragonfly lies in its ability to see around things by looking at them from different angles. Using its ability to transform colors and lights by reflecting and refracting them, the dragonfly shows us that life, like light, can bend, shift and adapt in various ways. Therefore what we see in life may not be what it appears to be. The dragonfly helps us to see through life's illusions and find our true vision. It calls on us to transform within our lives and reminds us to feel deeply so we will have the compassion necessary to help ourselves and others...
